Abstract

The article examines the representation of linguistic variability, the beliefs of various scientists on this concept and its definition. The article is also devoted to the problem of finding the status of youth slang in the national language system, which is relevant in modern linguistics. The analysis of this subsystem revealed contradictions in its linguistic and structural content.
