Abstract

Preschool education is a priority area of ​​activity that is continuously developed in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as the first stage of the continuous education system, taking into account the interests of the individual, society and the state. The child's successful education at school, his formation as a personality, and his participation in public life depend significantly on the foundation laid in the preschool period. Preschool age is a period of active socialization of the child, the assimilation of cultural habits, and the awakening of moral and aesthetic feelings. The child - a small individual - gets the opportunity to establish comprehensive communication with adults and peers in a group setting and develop communication skills. One of the trainings that is passed as the most optimal stage of development in preschool age is music training, which plays an important role in aesthetic education. The purpose of music training in preschool education is to develop the mental, creative potential, cultural level, psychological stability and health of children, their protection, and the formation of a sensitive (conscious) attitude to the surrounding world and their personality, starting from an early age. The purpose and task of the subject of music teaching methodology in preschool educational institutions is to clarify the role of music in the aesthetic education of children aged 1-6, to determine the methods and ways of teaching music.
