The development of artificial intelligence (AI) has led to increased threats in the field of cybersecurity. Attackers use AI to automate attacks, increase their effectiveness, and bypass defensive systems. Phishing attacks have become personalized and difficult to distinguish from official correspondence. AI-enabled malware is able to adapt and change its code to hide it from antiviruses. AI accelerates password cracking by analyzing leaked databases and user behavior. It also allows you to quickly find vulnerabilities in the software. DDoS attacks become more destructive by optimizing traffic distribution. In response to threats, AI solutions for protection are being implemented: anomaly systems, behavioral analysis, predictive analytics. Multi-factor authentication and biometric identification are used to enhance security. Modern AI antiviruses are able to detect even unknown software by behavioral signs. Advanced protection measures against phishing and DDoS attacks are used, including real-time traffic analysis. However, attackers quickly adapt to new technologies. The lack of awareness of users and the lack of specialists exacerbate the problem. Effective protection requires global cooperation, technological development, and increased digital literacy. AI should be used not only for attacks, but also to counter them.
