The article analyzes the methods of error correction in the process of learning foreign writing. The importance of the research is due to the complexity of the task of developing writing skills among foreign language learners. The purpose of the work is to describe effective correction techniques and strategies based on the analysis of scientific literature and practical experience. The emphasis is placed on a variety of approaches that take into account both general and individual characteristics of foreign language proficiency. Recommendations are given for the prevention of typical mistakes and the development of self-correction skills among students
