Abstract

As a universally accessible language of expression, painting serves as an effective tool of cultural diplomacy, improving mutual understanding between nations, creating a positive image of the state and stimulating intercultural exchange. Cultural diplomacy creates a platform for communication through art, overcoming linguistic and ideological barriers, compared to traditional diplomatic methods that focus on political and economic cooperation. This article examines successful examples, international initiatives and a comparative analysis of the approaches of France, Italy and the Netherlands. By analyzing the practices of these countries, it is possible to identify key areas of cultural diplomacy through painting, assess their impact on international relations and highlight strategies used to promote art on a global scale
