Scientific approaches to the formation and development of social entrepreneurship

The article examines scientific approaches to the formation and development of social entrepreneurship as an integration model combining entrepreneurial activity and a social mission. The key theoretical and methodological aspects reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of this phenomenon are analyzed, as well as the main problems and challenges faced by social entrepreneurs, especially in Kazakhstan. The approaches of domestic and foreign researchers to the definition of the conceptual apparatus are revealed, the models and tools of social entrepreneurship used in world practice are characterized. Special attention is paid to the country-specific development of social entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan, including the regulatory and legal vacuum, isolation of sector participants and insufficient development of support infrastructure. The necessity of a systematic approach to the institutionalization of social entrepreneurship as an effective tool for sustainable socio-economic development is substantiated.
