Abstract

The result of work on the development of lexical skill depends on the method used in learning a foreign language. The article tells about 15 most effective ways of memorising words. These are illustrated dictionaries, thematic dictionaries, lexical minimums, lists, itineraries, lexiland, cards, stickers, single words, word combinations, opposites, synonyms, intelligence cards, crosswords, scanwords.
