Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to examine the factors influencing teachers’ job performance in schools. Job performance is defined through a lot of factors. One of them is organizational culture as it encourages employees to feel valued and motivated. Through the research we aim to demostrate collaborative approach as an organizational characteristic contributes to better performance compared to formally structured schools. Collaborative approach encourages employees to feel valued, motivated, and committed to their work. The study was conducted using a quantitative research method through a standardized questionnaire. OCAI; (Organizational Culture  Assessment Instrument).  The survey results indicate that organizational characteristics based on strict bureaucratic procedures and formal structures receive the lowest level of support, whereas a family-like organizational environment is considered highly important by the majority of respondents
