Study of the Phytoncidal Activity of Local Wild Chamomile Flora Against Aphids (Aphididae) in Vocational Education

Abstract

This article presents a practical study conducted with the participation of vocational education students focusing on the phytoncidal and insecticidal properties of wild chamomile (Asteraceae) species from the local flora. As part of the experiment, an extract was prepared from wild chamomile and tested on fruit crops against aphid (Aphididae) colonies. The study demonstrated high efficacy of the biological preparation, supported by field and laboratory observations as well as morphological analysis.
