Pedagogical Design
Abstract
Pedagogical design is the preliminary development of the key details of the upcoming activities of students and educators. The pedagogical process is the primary object of design for the educator.
- A new, developing field of knowledge, a way of interpreting pedagogical reality (A. P. Tryapitsyna)
- An applied scientific field within pedagogy and organized practical activity, aimed at addressing tasks related to the development, transformation, and improvement of modern educational systems, as well as the resolution of contradictions within them (E. S. Zair-Bek)
- a method for standardizing and transmitting pedagogical and research activities (N. A. Masyukova)
Stages of pedagogical design:
- Pedagogical modeling (creating a model) involves formulating the goals (the general concept) for establishing pedagogical systems, processes, or situations, as well as the primary means of achieving them; this stage entails selecting the methodological system and instructional technology.
- Pedagogical design (creating a project) involves further developing the established model and bringing it to the stage of practical application.
- Pedagogical construction (creating a construct) involves further detailing the project to adapt it for use in specific conditions by the actual participants in the educational process. Structuring educational and pedagogical activities is a methodological task.
