The article is devoted to the problem of protecting the rights of refugee children under international human rights law, international refugee law, and international humanitarian law. The article highlights the special needs of refugee children in comparison to other categories of refugees, examines international legal standards and the practice of granting refugee status to children, the detention of refugee children, the reunification of refugee children with their families, and the protection of refugee children during armed conflict
