Abstract

In this paper we have tried to highlight the effects of rapid development in cities of Afghanistan with a focus on Kabul, Herat, Balkh and Ghazni the process we have highlighted some aspects of traditional housings of Afghanistan and how the Government policies and geographical and climatic conditions have influenced this traditional housing. A comparative reflection on various aspects of the aforementioned cities has also been presented.
