Abstract

Protecting the environment, increasing the efficiency of energy and water use, and reducing the use of non-renewable resources play a fundamental role in the sustainable development of Uzbekistan. An important prerequisite for sustainability is improving the efficiency of education and increasing its scope. This requires the development of new curricula and programmes and the improvement of teachers' competencies.
