Russia's support for Armenian separatists in the post-war period, the political and legal aspects of the deployment and behavior of Russian soldiers in Azerbaijan, as well as the possibilities of Russia's use of this as a factor of influence on the parties were analyzed. The reasons for delaying the peace agreement, some aspects of the concern that Turkey's strengthening in the South Caucasus is causing to Russia are reflected.
