Abstract

Digitalization of government agencies has become a crucial focus for modernizing governance and enhancing its effectiveness in Central Asian and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the digital transformation strategies implemented in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries in the region from 2021 to 2025. Through a comparative analysis and case study, this study identifies successful practices, major challenges, and prospects for digital transition. The paper emphasizes that a successful transformation is not merely a technological upgrade but also a profound reform of processes, enhancing digital literacy, and ensuring cybersecurity. It is based on relevant sources, including expanded statistical data, diagrams, and tables illustrating the progress, challenges, and key differences in approaches to public administration digitalization in the studied regions
