Abstract

This work provides a rationale for conducting a preventive screening cytological examination of the female population in order to identify precancerous diseases and cervical cancer using a population-based method of actively detecting this pathology in clinically asymptomatic individuals. The methodology is described in detail and the results of oncocytological screening in a regional context are presented. It has been shown that the use of the Pap test allows for a differentiated approach to diagnosis, development of management tactics and targeted treatment of such patients
