Abstract

The article elaborates the requirements given to translation process. It has been noted that translation process is impossible without some technical equipment and facilities such as soundproof booths, microphones, speakers. Besides, the interpreter needs to have conference guidelines, reference books, pens and papers, water bottles. The article underlines that a proficient translator should have cognitive language skills and cultural awareness in order to be able to translate the given text properly.
