Abstract

In the modern realities of biological education in Kazakhstan, the use of innovative teaching methods that promote the development of creative thinking and research skills of students is becoming relevant. Heuristic teaching methods, based on students’ independent search for solutions under the guidance of a teacher, seem to be a promising approach for increasing the effectiveness of teaching practice. The purpose of this article is to study the theoretical foundations of heuristic teaching and analyze the practical application of heuristic methods in biology lessons, providing specific examples. The effectiveness of these methods is analyzed on the basis of specific examples and recommendations are given for their implementation in teaching practice. In conclusion, the importance of the heuristic approach for improving the quality of biological education in Kazakhstan is emphasized and prospects for further research in this area are outlined.
