This study aims to explore the mental health challenges faced by first and second generation immigrant students in Milan. Through a cross-sectional survey involving both quantitative and qualitative methods, we investigated the prevalence of mental health issues, the factors contributing to these challenges, and the coping mechanisms employed by these students. Our findings highlight significant disparities in mental health outcomes compared to native peers, emphasizing the need for targeted interventions and support systems within educational institutions.
