Abstract

The "always on" culture is a growing phenomenon resulting from digital transformation and constant connectivity. While modern technologies have promoted flexibility and quick communication, they have also created an expectation of constant availability, impacting employee satisfaction and well-being. This article explores the consequences of this culture, including the difficulty of setting boundaries between personal and professional life, increased stress, reduced productivity, and impacts on mental health. The research also discusses the responsibility of leadership, who often face even greater pressure, and proposes solutions to mitigate the negative effects of this culture in organizational settings.
