Abstract

Simultaneous translation is a field that has recently appeared in translation and is one of the most difficult types of translation, however, it includes the development of many skills, such as speaking, listening, quick reaction, problem solving in terms of linguistic units. Techniques for developing simultaneous translation skills can be very effective in learning and teaching a foreign language. The purpose of this article is to provide effective methods in teaching simultaneous translation that can be used in an educational environment and can motivate students to learn a foreign language. The materials of the study were programs and training materials for the preparation of simultaneous translation, as well as methods such as comparison, description, observation were used. The results of the study revealed methods that can be practically significant in learning and teaching a foreign language. The practical application of the techniques helps students develop listening, speaking, mindfulness skills, and also improves the vocabulary and terminology of students. The exercises are effective in improving the level of English proficiency, as students get the opportunity to speak and translate languages at a professional level.
