The Azerbaijani language mainly belongs to the Turkic languages due to its geographical distribution. Therefore, this language can be called Azerbaijani Turkish. Turkish languages are spoken by a large number of peoples in the world. Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have been developed and strengthened in many areas thanks to the fraternal relations founded on deep historical and cultural ties. Great Leader H. Aliyev noted that "one of the most important means for the future of independent Azerbaijan is the development of our mother tongue, our state language." He called "Azerbaijan and Turkey one nation, two states". I have said that we are one people, one nation, two states, one people. Many people are repeating these words in Turkey now.... This is another proof that our peoples consist of one root. (1. p. 73). In one article such an opinion was written, there is no such word in Turkish Turkish that does not have the same equivalent in Azerbaijani language (2 p. 34).
