Abstract

In modern educational psychology, motivation is one of the most actively used and important terms, which includes the determining factors of human actions and behavior, leading to a response to internal (emotions, feelings, sensations) and external (environmental) stimuli.

Most human actions are aimed at achieving a goal, which is based on certain motives. Therefore, motivation is a process aimed at achieving a desired goal.

Particular attention in educational psychology is paid to learning motivation and its determining factors. A deep understanding of motivation plays a critical role in students' future success.
