In contemporary educational practice, increasing emphasis is placed on the objectification of assessment, the individualization of approaches to students, and the use of digital technologies. Software tools enable efficient recording, processing, and evaluation of performance in various physical activities, thereby contributing to more accurate and transparent student assessment. The paper focuses on the basic principles of software-based assessment, which include performance measurement, expert evaluation, and the use of inquiry methods. Emphasis is placed on integrating traditional assessment methods with modern digital solutions that support feedback and student motivation. Software-based assessment also enables long-term monitoring of performance progress and contributes to more effective planning of the teaching process.
