Persuasion techniques in public speech is crucial as it shapes how messages are received and interpreted by the public. The emotional tone—be it optimistic, urgent, or somber—can greatly influence audience perception psychologically . Effective speakers know when to evoke emotion to rally support or instill concern. Clear and concise language helps ensure the message is understood. Avoiding jargon and overly complex sentences can enhance accessibility. Utilizing references that resonate with a specific audience can strengthen a speaker’s appeal and relatability.
Persuasion techniques are those stylistic devices which are more than just words; it's about creating a connection with the audience and effectively conveying ideas.
Judging the persuasion techniques in public speech we have fixed upon the political discourse analysis as the most sufficient tool influencing the audience to make their choice and finally catch their votes.
The article highlights the three groups of persuading techniques of public speech : linguo-stylistic, national-cultural and emotional-expressive approach in public speeches.
