Abstract

In the thesis, it was mentioned that the Avshars from the Oghuz region are attached to their ancestral customs and lineage, and that they have preserved their tribal characteristics even today despite the passing of centuries. It is noted that the Avshars were an ethnos that played a key role in the formation of the Azerbaijani people and language and actively participated in the creation of dozens of toponyms with the same name in the territory of Azerbaijan. The name of this tribe is repeatedly mentioned in the monuments of the Turkic peoples. Avshars have always respected their roots. They do not praise others and do not curse themselves. Thanks to unity and integrity, they have achieved prosperity and wealth. It is interesting that the Avshars were inclined to art not because of poverty, but because of wealth. The Avshars had a special stamp that they stamped on their creations, official documents, flags, cattle, cattle, and horses. Avshar stamps can be found on carpets, tableware, clothes, felts, and sometimes on tombstones. Historically, the sword carried by avshars was called "kirmani", and the dagger it was carrying was called "ovshari". That sword, called kirmani, is believed to have been made by the Kerman group of Avshars.
