Abstract

This article examines the importance of festivals as tools for popularizing Kazakh ethno-folk music. The key festivals of Kazakhstan, their role in supporting cultural heritage and generating interest in ethnic music among young people are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the ethno-festival "The Spirit of Tengri", which has become an important platform for promoting Kazakh musicians both nationally and internationally. The article also highlights the influence of art management on the development of ethno-music events and identifies important trends in their organization and promotion. The study emphasizes the importance of producers and art managers in creating conditions for the professional growth of musicians and preserving ethno-folk heritage in the context of globalization. Purpose of the work. The aim of the work is to analyze the role of festivals in popularizing Kazakh ethno-folk music, as well as to evaluate their effectiveness in attracting interest in ethno-musical traditions. Method and methodology of the work. The study is based on the methods of comparative and structural analysis. Cases of large ethno-festivals, such as "The Spirit of Tengri" and "Eco-ethno-festival FourE" are analyzed. Methods of interviews with participants and organizers, as well as analysis of the content of social networks and media were used to study the role of these platforms in promoting ethno-music. The results of the study can be useful for art managers, organizers of cultural events and educational institutions in the field of cultural management. The use of these data can contribute to more effective organization of ethno-festivals, improvement of promotion strategies and creation of attractive cultural projects that will maintain interest in Kazakh ethno-music both among young people and abroad. Conclusions. Festivals and cultural events play an important role in popularization of Kazakh ethno-folk music, drawing attention to the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan and contributing to its preservation. Promotion through social networks and collaborations with modern musical genres help to attract young people and keep ethno-music relevant.
