Comparison of Spring WebFlux and Spring MVC
Abstract
Spring Framework provides two distinct models for developing web applications: Spring MVC, a traditional synchronous and imperative model, and Spring WebFlux, a reactive, asynchronous, and non-blocking model. This paper presents a comparative analysis of Spring WebFlux and Spring MVC, highlighting their architectures, performance characteristics, scalability, use cases, and suitability for various types of applications. The study aims to help developers make informed decisions when choosing between the two frameworks based on specific project requirements
