Abstract

This paper investigates the viability of Islamic finance as a mechanism for facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI) within the infrastructure domain of Kazakhstan. It analyzes the historical progression of Islamic banking in the nation, the significance of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). Furthermore, the paper addresses the obstacles and opportunities associated with the incorporation of Islamic finance into the country's infrastructure financing framework
