This paper explores the integration of the 4C competencies (critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration) into art and craft lessons. The relevance of this study is driven by the need to prepare students for the demands of modern society, where soft skills and the ability to apply knowledge in practice play a crucial role.
The research examines methods and techniques facilitating the development of the 4C competencies through artistic and creative activities. Particular attention is given to pedagogical approaches such as project-based learning, teamwork, problem-based tasks, and application of interactive technologies. The study demonstrates that art and craft education possesses significant potential for fostering creativity and critical thinking by encouraging the creation of original products, analysis of artistic images and the search for unconventional solutions.
The research results indicate that the systematic integration of 4C competencies increases student motivation, develops their autonomy, and fosters efficient teamwork skills. The paper concludes with a recommendation for the purposeful implementation of these strategies within the educational process
