Abstract

İn this article, first of all, the evaporation losses that occur during the storage of liquid gases in tanks and in technological systems are shown and the reasons for their occurrence are investigated. Ways to solve the problem have been proposed to reduce evaporation losses. During the study, the main factor influencing the evaporation losses in the tanks is the ambient temperature. Evaporation losses can be reduced by reducing the temperature effect of the environment on the liquid gas tank.

As a result of the application of the new method proposed in the article, it is possible to reduce the volume of evaporation losses by 25-30% by reducing the temperature in the liquid gas tank by 10-15°C.

The application of the proposed new constructive solution is to create an additional layer in the liquid gas tank with the help of aluminum or stainless metal sheets. In this case, the sun's rays will be prevented from falling on the tank. In addition, after fixing the aluminum and stainless steel sheets to the tank by twisting them, Ø50 from the bottom and top of the tank; Ø80; The opening of Ø100 mm holes (depending on the volume of the tank) is provided, which ensures air flow within the layer created in the tank, regardless of the ambient temperature.
