Abstract

The nonlinear oscillations of the oscillator when the metal rod works according to Prandtl's scheme only on displacement are studied. The essence of the delay algorithm is established and the formulas for calculating the unknown forces and corresponding displacements taking into account plastic displacements are given.

The results of the calculations performed in the case of the oscillator are given. Plots of displacements and forces are constructed for different values of the parameters. It is shown that under conditions of impulse impact, the influence of the initial speed and not the acceleration on the oscillation process is essential. In the case of repeated impulse impact, the response of the building for different moments of this impact is given.
