Abstract

This article explores the influence of internal and external environmental factors on the strategic development of a company, using L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) as a case study. The study identifies key internal constraints such as limited staff motivation, rigid administrative procedures, and a shortage of highly qualified IT specialists. On the external side, challenges include dynamic regulatory changes and increasing competition in the educational sector. Based on the analysis, strategic recommendations are proposed to enhance the university’s resilience and adaptability, including human capital development, digital transformation, and innovation-driven project management. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how academic institutions can navigate complex environments to achieve sustainable strategic growth.
