Abstract

Multimodal tracking interfaces can enhance user engagement in complex augmented reality (AR) games. The primary goal of this project is to design and implement pervasive gaming experiences that can be used by a wide range of users, including individuals with disabilities. An extended AR racing game was designed and implemented as part of this study. Successful gameplay requires starting the car and navigating it around the track without colliding with walls or other objects. To evaluate the proposed approach, a physical environment for playing three-dimensional interactive games was developed using transparent video-based augmented reality. A user study was conducted to assess the system, and the results are presented in this paper
