Abstract

The article explores the theoretical foundations and practical implementation of the family-centered approach in the comprehensive rehabilitation of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Moving away from traditional clinical models, this paradigm recognizes that active parental involvement is critical, as the home environment serves as the primary foundation for a child's progress. The study analyzes how collaborative care - characterized by shared decision-making between specialists and families - enhances the long-term effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
