Abstract

The article talks about the low level of students' interest in language lessons, the state of speech, moral and social environment, and the fact that reading is one of the last places among sources for obtaining information.

In the article, the effectiveness of presenting the way of comparative analysis of literary texts from the point of view of language in Azerbaijani language classes for secondary school students, and the effectiveness of increasing interest in words is practically shown.

Increasing students' interest in words and the development of their language skills affects the improvement of linguistic, communicative and cultural competences. If practical works related to the comparative analysis of literary texts are carried out consistently in Azerbaijani language classes, and if the necessary conditions for the integration of the subjects of Azerbaijani language and literature are expected; the study of morphology and syntax provides a link between the development of students' speech
