Abstract

Due to the growth of the economy, industrialization and concentration of the population of Mongolia, the consumption of electricity and heat energy is increasing, and there are some difficulties to solve it, such as buying hundreds of millions of US dollars worth of imported electricity from Russia and China. To solve this problem, in addition to traditional solid fuel energy sources, solar and wind energy, which are modern green technology solutions, are being researched, and some first results have already been obtained. An example of this is the conclusions of a comparative analysis of the results of the design calculation of a solar power plant with a capacity of 10 MW and a battery complex for heat and power supply, which will be built in the center of Arkhangai aimag.
