Abstract

Isoxazole ring, which is a structural element of 2,1- benzisoxazoles, is part of many drugs (leflunomide, oxacillin, dicloxacillin, danazol, risperidone, etc.) Several methods are known for the synthesis of 2,1-benzisoxazoles from ortho-substituted benzene derivatives containing substituents suitable for cyclization with the formation of a fused isoxazole ring
