Special attention is paid to the analysis of the prevalence of smoking among future medical professionals, their perception of smoking as a habit and the desire to get rid of addiction. The study highlights the need to strengthen the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among young people and especially among medical students, given their role in shaping an example of a healthy lifestyle for society. The results of the study may contribute to the development of more effective strategies to prevent and reduce smoking among young people and medical professionals.
