APPLICATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN GENERAL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance of having the ability to use information and communication technologies (ICT) in various fields, including education. Additionally, the "Program for the Provision of General Education Schools in the Republic of Azerbaijan with Information and Communication Technologies" includes information on equipping general education institutions with ICT and the work carried out with pedagogical staff. The article discusses the implementation and significance of ICT tools and multimedia technologies in general education schools. The benefits of ICT for teachers and students are highlighted. It is also noted that the use of ICT increases students' interest in lessons but creates some technical and health-related challenges.
