This study examines the competitive strategies of IT companies in Kazakhstan, with a focus on the experiences of project managers and the role of effective project management methodologies in achieving market adaptability and fostering innovation. As the technical environment continues to quickly advance, Kazakhstani information technology enterprises are confronted with the combined problem of keeping up with the changes in worldwide markets while also satisfying the expectations of the local market for technological innovation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the ways in which structured project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and the Temporary Competitive Advantage Model, contribute to the maintenance of competitiveness and the fulfillment of the particular issues that are present in the Kazakhstani market. The research highlights essential practices in team management, ongoing skill development, and proactive risk management. This is accomplished through a mix of a literature analysis and interviews with project managers from major information technology companies. IT organizations are able to accomplish both short-term responsiveness and long-term resilience by combining the Temporary Competitive Advantage Model with Agile frameworks, as demonstrated by the findings. Both of these capabilities are critical for maintaining a competitive position in a market that is always evolving. Despite this, difficulties continue to exist, notably in the areas of innovation management and the distribution of resources for projects that are always going through changes. This study highlights the value of projects management methods that are both adaptive and continuous for Kazakhstani information technology enterprises. These practices enable these organizations to efficiently traverse changes in the sector while simultaneously strengthening their competitive edge.
