Abstract

The article discusses the problems of Georgia's leading industries and the current and capital account deficits that arose on this basis. The source of its replenishment was international debts, the volume of which was sharply increasing. Against this background, the need to improve fiscal and tax policy and find ways to cover the deficit became acute.
