Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly improved digital accessibility for blind and visually impaired users. This paper explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Conversational AI (CAI) and large language models (LLMs), is transforming digital accessibility for blind and visually impaired (BVI) users. It begins by analyzing the limitations of traditional screen readers and the emergence of voice assistants, highlighting the challenges BVI users face in web navigation and content comprehension.
