Representation of solutions of differential equations in the form of series on the independent variable

Abstract

The review considers methods of representing solutions of linear differential equations of the second order in the form of series in the independent variable. Two main cases are considered: a regular point, where the coefficients are presented in the form of power series, and a weak singular point, where the coefficients have poles. Formulas and approaches for determining the coefficients of such solutions are given
