This article examines the potential of using artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching the “Optics” section of physics in higher education institutions. The study analyzes ways to personalize the learning process, enhance visual comprehension, and develop students’ cognitive engagement through the integration of AI technologies. A review of previous research identified the theoretical and methodological foundations for implementing AI systems in the teaching of optics. The findings demonstrate that artificial intelligence enables the creation of an effective learning environment that takes into account individual student abilities
