PEDAGOGICAL BASES FOR THE FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE IN FUTURE TEACHERS

The article presents the features of the pedagogical foundations for the formation and development of professional competence in future teachers. The essence of professional competence is defined. The effectiveness of the foundations that ensure the formation and development of professional competence in future teachers is demonstrated. The article is written with the aim of conducting a detailed study of the ways to form the most effective professional competencies of future teachers during the educational process. The main objectives of the research are identified, such as revealing the essence of the concept of teachers’ “professional competence”; identifying the components of professional competence of a future teacher; determining the current state of the problem of forming future teachers’ professional competence in general pedagogy; improving the theoretical foundations of pedagogy as a science for the formation and development of future teachers’ professional qualities; studying and analyzing the most effective ways of developing professional competence and literacy among students of pedagogical higher education institutions in the preparation of future teachers. The stages of forming competency-based personal qualities of future teachers, consisting of four components and structural elements of personal qualities, are examined. In turn, they enhance personal qualities and contribute to the formation of professional competence in future teachers. The authors analyzed the main concepts of forming professional competencies of future educators within the educational process and studied and discussed the scientific works of Kazakhstani and Russian researchers. It was revealed that the pedagogical foundations for the formation and development of professional competence and literacy of future teachers include the ability to independently solve problems and tasks in the field of biology, as well as the capacity for self-development based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. The theoretical framework of the article leads to the understanding that a teacher must possess new knowledge and professionally significant personal qualities.
