MANAGING VACCINATION ADHERENCE AT THE PRIMARY HEALTH CARE LEVEL: A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY IN A SINGLE HEALTH FACILITY

Abstract

The article assesses the level of vaccination adherence among adults registered with a primary health care (PHC) facility and identifies the local factors that shape it. A single-stage descriptive survey was conducted at BCMO LLP in Balkhash, Kazakhstan (n = 100). Of the respondents, 78% considered vaccination necessary and 84% acknowledged its preventive role, whereas only 72% regarded vaccines as safe. Trust in health workers reached 81%, yet 67% reported an unmet need for additional information.
