Abstract

The article considers the formation of gender studies in Azerbaijan. The author believes that the first stage, which was educational and feminist in nature, has completed today. The second stage is ahead: the transition to a gender approach and the study of men's problems, in order to find out the necessary steps for the establishment of genuine gender equality.
