FORMS AND METHODS OF PREVENTION OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFENSES IN THE RELIGIOUS SPHERE IN KAZAKHSTAN: DIRECTIONS, PROBLEMS, EXPERTISE
Abstract
The religious sphere has always been a very sensitive area of public relations. In many countries, religion plays a key role in interaction with society.
The relevance of this article is due to the changing processes of state-confessional relations over time not only in the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also throughout the modern world. The emergence of new religious movements of a destructive nature, the problems of extremism and terrorism force any state to respond in a timely manner to threats to public and national security.
The most important aspects of combating offenses are their prevention, elimination of the causes and conditions that have led to harmful and dangerous acts for society or contribute to their commission.
It is necessary to emphasize that offenses cannot be eradicated by fighting only directly against them, but their number can be significantly reduced through comprehensive and systematic measures.
In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the prevention of offenses in the religious sphere is a multi-vector, interdisciplinary and comprehensive activity of state structures.
This article has been prepared on the basis of an analysis of existing practices in the prevention of administrative offenses, as well as data from a sociological study conducted by the authors.
