Abstract

Effective planning ensures that the lesson is structured, involving and meaningful. Establishment of lessons with the 5E's promotes active participation, stimulates thinking and problem solving. Let's consider planning the topic of bionics. In the daily planning of the lesson, the teacher mainly focuses on which sub-standard to implement firstly in this lesson. Then defines the learning objectives pursuant to the standard. The course of the whole lesson, the educational strategies are based on standard and non-standard objectives. The aim of the lesson:

  • Explains the role of bionics science achievements in our life.
  • Prepares presentations on the achievements of bionics via modern equipment.

After the aim is specified, integration opportunities, working form and method, resources to be used in the lesson are determined. Interdisciplinary integration may be conducted with computer science. Vertical intra-disciplinary integration is carried out with lower-class subjects. The learning form is appropriate for group and collective and applying brainstorm, discussion, and presentation methods. A3 sheets, colored markers, pictures, projector are used as resources. The subject is taught in the sequence pursuant to the stages of the 5E model. The 5E model consists of the stages of "Interest", "Research", "Explanation", "Reinforcement" and "Evaluation". In the first stage of the lesson, students are asked questions using a familiar situation and involved to discuss. The aim is to establish a connection between students’ initial knowledge and the learning conclusions of the lesson, to arouse interest in the topic and direct to research.
